‘Vax Live’ Concert May 8

Global Citizen’s Vax Live: The Concert to Reunite the World will air tomorrow, May 8, at 8 pm ET/PT on ABC and CBS stations, and stream over YouTube and ABC News Live.

Title notwithstanding, Vax Live: the Concert to Reunite the World, will not actually be live, but took place last Sunday, May 2, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. So we can report with some confidence that the following artists will perform: Jennifer Lopez, Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, J Balvin, H.E.R., and Saweetie, with appearances by Ben Affleck, Chrissy Teigen, David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel, Nomzamo Mbatha, Olivia Munn, Sean Penn, Gayle King and Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Selena Gomez hosts.

The concert will run for one hour on most outlets – including Fox stations, which will air it at 11 pm ET/PT – but will include an extra half-hour on YouTube and right here:’

Although we’re pretty sure they weren’t at the stadium Sunday, tomorrow’s show is also scheduled to include appearances by President Biden, First Lady Dr Biden, Vice President Harris, President Macron of France, Prime Minister Trudeau of Canada, and Prime Minister Plenković of Croatia.
