Polish Pleasures This Week

Polish TV and cinema come to the streaming fore with the premiere of Netflix’s Sexify series this Wednesday, April 28, and the start of a week-long Kino Polska: New Polish Cinema festival on Friday, April 30.

Sexify

In this coming-of-age comedy-drama, Aleksandra Skraba plays Natalia, a sexually inexperienced college student who’s a tech whiz. Natalia sets out to build an app “to help women discover themselves.” “I’ll work on the theory, and you on the practice,” she tells friends Monika and Paulina (Sandra Drzymalska, Maria Sobocinska).

Netflix hasn’t revealed an episode count for Sexify, but you can visit Netflix.com/Sexify starting Wednesday to find out and binge.
