Late Day’s Light Night

TVS Light Network, a free 24/7 streaming channel featuring family programming, said it will air a block of The Doris Day Show on Monday nights, where the sitcom was ensconced for the final four seasons of its five-year CBS run (1968-1973).

The Doris Day Show went through multiple format changes over the course of 128 episodes. We don’t have the space to describe all of them, but in short, the first three seasons focused on family comedy, the final two on Day — who died two years ago at 97 — as a single career woman.

Here are opening and closing credits spanning the five-season run. One constant: Day singing “Que Sera, Sera,” (although versions of the song do change).

If you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber, all episodes of The Doris Day Show are available to binge. You can also see all episodes free if you belong to a participating Hoopla library, or free to all with ads on Tubi. Or you can buy individual episodes for $1.99 and complete seasons for $24.99 from Amazon, Google Play or YouTube.

Other shows on TVS Light Network include The Andy Griffith Show, Love, American Style, Father Knows Best, The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Laverne & Shirley and Sing Along with Mitch.
