Mitzi’s 25th Year

The Incredible 25th Year of Mitzi Bearclaw, a comedy-drama with an all-Native American cast, focuses on a Toronto designer of “hats that are going to change the world.” Reluctantly returning home to her isolated reservation to help take care of her sick mother, she reconnects with her parents, reignites a relationship with an old flame, and faces enemies from her childhood.

The 96-minute film, written and directed by Shelley Niro, has just launched over iTunes and Redbox for $4.99; on Amazon, Google Play and Vudu for $5.99; and via other providers.

Morningstar Angeline plays Mitzi Bearclaw, with the cast also including Ajuawak Kapashesit, Andrew Martin and Billy Merasty.
