Combine the competitiveness of Best in Show, the dueling families of Dynasty, and the cattiness of reality TV, substitute pigs for dogs, Texas for Colorado, and “hog queens” for the Kardashians, and you might end up with Pig Royalty, debuting tomorrow, March 23, on Discovery+.
The series follows the reigning Balero family and the challenging Rihns who criss-cross Texas with their pigs, competing for money, scholarships, and big shiny belt buckles (hey, it’s Texas!).
Discovery+ did not reveal the length nor number of episodes, but said the first two installments will also run Tuesday nights at 9 pm over the Discovery cable channel.

Discovery+ costs $4.99/month with commercials, or $6.99/month for an ad-free experience. Verizon customers with qualifying plans can get 12 months free.
