‘Cold Courage’ on AMC+

Cold Courage, an eight-episode Nordic crime thriller set in London, debuts tomorrow, March 11, on subscription streamer AMC+.

In English and subtitled Finnish, Cold Courage follows a fierce psychologist (Pihla Viitala) fighting for the underdog and a shy graphic artist (Sofia Pekkari) on the run from an abusive stalker who are drawn together through a clandestine group working against a dangerous, charismatic politician (John Simm) who wants to put the ‘Great’ back into Great Britain.  

Based on novels by Finnish journalist Pekka Hiltunen, Cold Courage ran originally on Scandinavian streamer Viaplay in May 2020.

AMC+ will release the first three episodes March 11, with subsequent episodes to come every Thursday through April 15.

AMC+, which shows ad-free programming from AMC, Shudder, Sundance Now, IFC Films Unlimited and other sources, costs $8.99 a month with a seven-day free trial. You can subscribe via Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Roku, Sling TV,and some cable and dish providers.
