The Real World Homecoming

The Real World, which started today’s reality show bandwagon back in 1992, is back to help kick off today’s start of Paramount+, previously CBS All Access.

This time, the very first cast has reunited three decades later for a new series, The Real World Homecoming: New York. You can also watch the first episode free on Amazon.

So it’s time to get reacquainted with the “seven strangers picked to live in a house [who] stop being polite and start getting real.”

The seven no-longer strangers return to the same apartment, with the same furnishings, to discuss the past – and perhaps relive their old arguments all over again.

If you remember Norman, Julie, Becky, Kevin, Andre, Heather and Eric, you’re already on board with this.

If you weren’t there, have forgotten, or just want to relive the experience, the original 13 half-hour episodes of The Real World‘s first season are also available to Paramount+ subscribers. Or you can watch them free at MTV.com, and today on MTV Pluto, channel 178.

Here are the first 10 minutes of the first episode of the first season of The Real World:

The length and number of episodes of The Real World Homecoming: New York have not been announced by Paramount+.

Personally, we’re waiting for The Real World Homecoming: San Francisco to see if Puck has gained an inkling of human empathy.

You can stream Paramount+ for $5.99 a month with limited commercials, or for $9.99 mostly commercial free. Annual plans cost $59.99 or $99.99 respectively. Both plans come with a one-month free trial if you subscribe by March 31. For more info, visit Paramount+.
