It’s a Betty White Christmas! Buzzr‘s sixth annual salute, featuring the 98-year-old comedy icon on classic game shows, kicks off Monday at noon ET, culminating with an all-day Christmas marathon. And Betty herself has given fans a gift by announcing the upcoming digital and DVD release of her 1971 syndicated talk show, The Pet Set.

Pet Set

Betty White’s Pet Set, as her talk show will be known for its re-release on February 23, featured celebrity guests — and their pets. Visitors during the 39 half-hour episodes included Carol Burnett, Mary Tyler Moore, James Stewart, Burt Reynolds, Shirley Jones, Michael Landon, Barbara Eden, James Brolin, Della Reese, Vincent Price, Rod Serling and Doris Day — 14 years before Day would host her own short-lived animal-friendly series, Doris Day’s Best Friends.
“If I haven’t told you already, I will now. The Pet Set is one of my favorite shows. I’m thrilled it’s going to be seen again after all these years,” said White.
White’s late husband, Allen Ludden, best known as host of several incarnations of Password, was the show’s executive producer.
