This Thursday, November 19, Shudder will debut Leap of Faith: William Friedkin on The Exorcist, a documentary about the writer-director and his 1973 horror classic.
If you’re a Shudder subscriber who’s never seen The Exorcist, it would be a real leap of faith to just jump into Leap of Faith. And, if you’ve seen The Exorcist, chances are you haven’t seen Friedkin’s “Director’s Cut” from 2000, which added 11 minutes of footage to the already two-hour-long Oscar winner (for writing and sound).
You can stream The Exorcist: The Version You’ve Never Seen for $2.99 from iTunes, Microsoft, Redbox or Vudu.
