‘Mighty’ Backyard on Hulu

The Mighty Ones, an animated show about the hidden microscopic world of an unkempt backyard, debuts today, November 9, on Hulu.

The 10-episode children’s series features the comical adventures of a posse of tiny creatures: a twig (voiced by Silicon Valley’s Josh Brenner), a pebble called Rocksy (Jessica McKenna, a leaf (Jimmy Tatro), and a strawberry (Alex Cazares). They call themselves ‘The Mighty Ones’ – and their universe is the untended yard belonging to three slovenly humans. Thanks to The Mighty Ones’ diminutive size, they mistake these exceptionally large, unprepossessing people for gods.

The voice cast also includes Fred Tatasciore as Mr. Ladybug.

Hulu offers three subscription plans: $5.99 a month with ads; $11.99/month for a mostly commercial-free experience; and $54.99 monthly for Hulu + Live TV, which includes 60 channels and unlimited access to Hulu’s ad-supported content.  The first two options offer a one-month free trial. Hulu + Live TV offers one week of free streaming.

Hulu also offers a bundle with Disney+ and ESPN+ for $12.99 a month, but no free trial.
