Netflix breakout star Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) should have had her first starring role in a theatrical motion picture around this time. But, due to Covid-19, Enola Holmes instead premieres today on Netflix.

Based on The Enola Holmes Mysteries, a young adult book series by Nancy Springer, 16-year-old Brown plays the much younger sister of Sherlock Holmes (Henry Cavill). When her mother (Helena Bonham Carter) goes missing, Enola enlists Sherlock to solve the case. But…no spoiler here…guess who outwits the famous sleuth?

The cast of the crime adventure movie, set in Victorian-era England, also includes Sam Caflin (as Enola’s even older brother Mycroft) and Fiona Shaw.
