The horror-comedy anthology film Scare Package debuts tomorrow, June 18, on subscription streamer Shudder.

The movie is a valentine to the horror genre, consisting of seven stories directed by different up-and-coming directors. The tales are spun by Chad Buckley (Jeremy King), owner of Rad Chad’s Horror Emporium. Chad uses each segment to school a new employee on various horror subgenres. Horror fans can think of it as the best kind of homework assignment.

The segments and directors are:

“Girls Night Out of Body” – Courtney and Hillary Andujar

“The Night He Came Back Again! Part IV: The Final Kill” – Anthony Cousins

“Cold Open” – Emily Hagins

“Rad Chad’s Horror Emporium, Horror Hypothesis” – Aaron B. Koontz

“One Time in the Woods” – Chris McInroy

“M.I.S.T.E.R.” – Noah Segan (directorial debut)

“So Much to Do” – Baron Vaughn (directorial debut)

The cast includes Segan (“M.I.S.T.E.R.”), Vaughn (“So Much to Do”), Chase Williamson (“Horror Hypothesis”), Jocelyn DeBoer (“M.I.S.T.E.R.”), Jeremy King (“Horror Hypothesis”), wrestler Dustin Rhodes (“Horror Hypothesis”), Toni Trucks (“So Much to Do”), Gabrielle Maiden (“Girls Night Out of Body”), Tommy David (“The Night He Came Back Again”), Mac Blake (“One Time in the Woods”), Luxy Banner (“Cold Open”) and Hwan Tran (“Horror Hypothesis”).

Koontz and Cameron Burns created the project.

“This truly is a movie made by horror fans, for horror fans. And we have the tears, sweat and 40+ gallons of blood to prove it,” said Koontz.

Shudder costs $5.99 a month or $56.99 annually ($4.75 a month). Typically each option includes a seven-day free trial, but Shudder is currently offering 30-days free with the promo code SHUTIN. For more info, including devices, visit shudder.com.
