New Morgan Fairchild Soap

Morgan Fairchild, veteran of such soap operas as Falcon Crest, Flamingo Road and Search for Tomorrow, has a pilot for a new one, Mélange, debuting today, May 20, at 4 pm ET. You’ll find it at Logo’s YouTube channel and Facebook page, and at MelangeTheSeries.com.

The story centers on an historic gay bar, Mélange, whose founder (Guiding Light’s Robert Newman) has died suddenly in a mysterious manner. His protégé (Grace & Frankie’s Scott Evans) and his protégé’s estranged ex-wife (Fairchild) battle for control of the bar. Then, “as the stakes rise and tensions mount, Mélange becomes infested with betrayal, corruption, and revenge.”

The cast also features gossip maven Perez Hilton and such TV, theater and soap opera vets as Alex Newell (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist), Diana DeGarmo, Maya Days, Ilene Kristen and Pamela Winslow Kashani.

DeGarmo, Days, and Kashani also perform musical numbers in the pilot.
