Rock Comedy ‘Incoherents’

The Incoherents, a comedy-drama about the reunion of a 1990s indie rock band, is now available to stream for $4.99 from Amazon or iTunes. You can also participate in an Instagram premiere watch party (@theincoherents) today, April 28, at 8 pm ET, with director/producer Jared Barel and unidentified cast members.

Jeff Auer, Alex Emanuel, Walter Hoffman and Casey Clark play members of the Incoherents, all of whom have been experiencing midlife crises in their ‘40s. Auer and Emanuel also wrote the songs performed by the band. And the movie includes performances from Stew (Tony Winner for Passing Strange), Jimmy Gnecco (Ours), Fiona Silver, Gentlemen Brawlers and 60/40.

The cast also includes Annette O’Toole (original song Oscar nominee for The Mighty Wind), Amy Carlson (Blue Bloods), Kate Arrington (Ray Donovan), Robert McKay (Asunder the series), Margaret Anne Florence (Sun Records) and Christine Chang (New Amsterdam).
