‘At-Home’ Opera Gala

On Saturday, April 25, at 1 pm ET, New York’s Metropolitan Opera will live stream an “At-Home Gala,” starring more than 40 performers singing from their homes around the world. The event will be free on the Met’s website and then accessible on demand until 6:30 pm, Sunday, April 26.

The Met’s General Manager Peter Gelb in New York City and Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin in Montreal will host.

The At-Home Gala is part of the Met’s “The Voice Must Be Heard” fundraising campaign to help it weather the Ovid-19 pandemic.  You’ll be able to view it at metopera.org.

Bryn Terfel and Hannah Stone – Wales

Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov – Vienna

Renée Fleming – Virginia

Nicole Car and Etienne Dupuis – Paris

Jamie Barton – Atlanta
