‘Corona Zombies’ April 10

If you find a new movie titled Corona Zombies to be in bad taste, stop reading right now. If, however, you agree with Full Moon Features that what the world needs now is a “goofy, gory, silly, satirical and irreverent riff on what’s happening,” then you’ve come to the right place.

Corona Zombies is set to premiere tomorrow, April 10, on Full Moon’s subscription streamer before coming to Amazon on Monday, April 20.

To be fair, Corona Zombies isn’t the first new zombie film to exploit the current pandemic, given that The Savvy Screener wrote about Breaking Glass Pictures’ By Day’s End just three weeks ago. But Corona Zombies does appear to be the first flick rushed into production on the heels of Covid-19, and with a title to boot.

Full Moon Features offers two subscription options: $6.99 per month, or $59.99 per year (which includes a free Full Moon zip hoodie). From tomorrow through Monday, April 13, however, you can get your first month for $2.37 by entering code CZ20 at checkout.
