In 1952, the gender barrier is broken at a prestigious medical school: The nursing program at Fredenslund Hospital is admitting its first male trainees. The result: resistance from teachers, romance between students, rebellious parties, and lots of raucous jazz.

Welcome to The New Nurses, debuting tomorrow, November 26, on subscription streamer MHz Choice.

So far, two six-episode seasons of The New Nurses have run on TV 2 in Denmark, where the series is titled Sygeplejeskolen. MHz Choice will drop two episodes subtitled in English on Tuesdays through December 10. The New Nurses will then take a week off before resuming with the second season on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24.

MHZ Choice costs $7.99 monthly after a 30-day free trial. But you can get 50% off your first month by using the promo code HOLIDAY19. To subscribe, or for more info, visit mhzchoice.com.
