Corner Gas, a sitcom that was such a huge Canadian hit in the aughts that it spawned a feature film, now has an animated version.

Both series and the movie center around characters at a Dog River, Saskatchewan, gas station, the only one for miles around.

Brent Butt created the Corner Gas franchise and heads the ensemble cast as gas station owner Brent Leroy. Cameos in the animated version, which features most of the original cast, include Michael J. Fox, Sarah McLachlan and astronaut Chris Hadfield.

Corner Gas Animated, with 24 half-hour episodes, will debut for free tomorrow, October 15, on IMDb TV, joining the original series (107 half-hours) and Corner Gas: The Movie (90 minutes), which are already available.

Amazon Prime subscribers can also stream the original Corner Gas, Corner Gas: The Movie and, starting tomorrow, Corner Gas Animated.

Both Corner Gas (2004-2009) and Corner Gas Animated (2018) originally ran on Canada’s CTV. Corner Gas: The Movie came out in 2014.

You can watch IMDb TV for free on, Fire TV and mobile pps.
