Hulu’s Wu-Tang Saga

Hulu will debut the first three episodes of its drama series, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, tomorrow, September 4.

The remaining seven episodes will drop weekly on subsequent Wednesdays.

Based on the true story of the Wu-Tang Clan, founded in 1992, the series is set in New York during the crack cocaine epidemic. Bobby Diggs aka The RZA (Ashton Sanders) seeks to unite a dozen young black men, drawing them into one of the most influential groups in hip-hop history.

The cast also features Shameik Moore (Sha Rader), Dave East (Shotgun), TJ Atoms (Ol’ Dirty Bastard), Marcus Callender (Power Grant), Siddiq Saunderson (Dennis ‘D-Love’ Coles aka Ghostface Killah), Julian Elijah Martinez (Divine), Zolee Griggs (Shurrie) and Erika Alexander (Linda).

Wu-Tang: An American Saga was created by The RZA and Alex Tse.
