Stream It, Don’t Say It

The comedy series whose title you can spell aloud but not say on prime-time network TV is now available on CW Seed, the free, ad-supported streamer.

SCTV’s Eugene Levy and his son Daniel co-created and star in Schitt’s Creek, the story of a rich family who suddenly go broke and are forced to live in the eponymously titled town, a place they once bought as a joke.

The cast also includes Eugene Levy’s SCTV co-star Catherine O’Hara, Annie Murphy, Chris Elliott, Emily Hampshire, Jennifer Robertson, Noah Reid, Dustin Milligan, Sarah and Karen Robinson.

The show, whose episodes first air in the US on Pop TV, is produced by that cable channel in association with Canada’s CBC.

CW Seed has the first four 13-episode seasons, which are also available to Netflix subscribers. A fifth season has also run on Pop TV and the CBC.

Schitt’s Creek recently earned Pop TV its first-ever Emmy nominations.

Episodes from all five seasons are available to purchase for $1.99 from Vudu and other services.

Schitt’s Creek will return with a sixth season in 2020.

CW Seed offers more than 1,000 hours of content with original series such as I Ship It, Constantine and J.J. Abrams’ Alcatraz,. An upcoming linear channel was also announced recently.

You can stream CW Seed via a variety of apps.
