Young Baseball Champs

For nine days starting tomorrow, August 2, Stadium will air 34 live baseball games featuring teams whose players are all aged 12 or under. If you’re thinking the Little League World Series, think again. This is the Cal Ripken Major/70 World Series, part of the 58-year-old Babe Ruth League.

Coverage from Branson, MO will culminate on Saturday, August 10, with the World Championship game. For a complete schedule, visit the Babe Ruth League website.

The 72-year-old Little League World Series, featuring players aged 10-12, will be held August 15-25 in South Williamsport, PA. All 32 games will be telecast on ESPN, ESPN2 or ABC. For a complete schedule, visit LittleLeague.org.
