Tweens: ‘Live Justice’

Attention tween girls, or anyone who knows a tween girl: The Live Justice Awards (with “live” pronounced  as a verb) will stream live (the adjective) tonight at 8 pm ET on the Justice YouTube channel and Justice Facebook page.

Hosted by 16-year-old actress Breanna Yde (Nickelodeon’s School of Rock and The Haunted Hathaways), the show will feature such favorite tween talent as World of Dance’s Crazy 8’sSophie MichelleNicole LaenoGEM SistersJessalyn GraceMaya PennDylan ConriqueGavin MagnusConnor FinnertyRykel BennettJustJordan33Katie DonnellyD’Ambrosio Twins and Merrick Hannah

The awards themselves don’t honor celebrities, but rather girls “who are making a difference in their local communities and inspiring others to do the same.” The requirements? “Live active, live connected, live together, live smart, live positive, and live creative.”

The winners (we don’t know who or how many) will each receive $5,000 to be donated to non-profits of their choice.

And, to be sure, Justice itself is not a non-profit, but rather the Justice clothing retailer.
