Classic Three Stooges

MeTV will show unexpurgated Three Stooges shorts – face slaps, eye pokes and head knocks intact – Saturdays at 6 pm ET starting June 1 (check the MeTV schedule for time in your area).

The channel will present two classic Stooges shorts in a one-hour block. Each short will air unedited, without commercial interruption.

MeTV is packaging the shorts thematically. In the coming weeks, you can expect:

June 1 – “Crème de la Curly.” The best of Curly will include Micro-Phonies and A-Plumbing We Will Go.

June 8 – “Just Say Moe.” Moe’s best will include Tassels in the Air and Idiots Deluxe.

June 15 – “Shemp Cocktail” offers two Shemp favorites: Brideless Groom (presented in its entirety below) and Who Done It?

Future Saturdays will feature Hoi Polloi (June 29), Three Little Beers (July 6 and presented below), Women Haters (August 3) and Pop Goes the Easel (August 24).

The entire Stooges schedule is at MeTV.

We do have one question: Why no Larry-themed night? And what would be considered the top two Larry classics? Feel free to provide your choices in the comment section at the end of this article.

You can watch MeTv for free with an antenna hooked up to your TV set. For the channel number in your area, check MeTV.com/wheretowatch.

Some Stooges shorts are available free via YouTube. In addition, a selection of fan favorites can be purchased starting at $1.99 from Google Play, Vudu and other providers.
