Midsomer Murders now has its own channel – 513 – on free streamer Pluto TV.

Pluto TV is showing the original run (1997-2011) starring John Nettles as Detective Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby. That’s 81 episodes from 13 seasons shown continuously 24/7.

In the show, DCI Barnaby investigates crimes in the well-to-do English county of Midsomer, outwardly idyllic but populated by amoral and snobbish eccentrics with all kinds of vices.

Guest stars in the episodes include Orlando Bloom, Peter Capaldi, Henry Cavill, Colin Farrell, Samantha Bond, Emily Mortimer and Hugh Bonneville.

Midsomer Murders is based on novels by Caroline Graham.

Tom Barnaby’s younger cousin John (Neil Dudgeon) took over the DCI duties in season 14. You can watch episodes from all 20 seasons via subscription streamers BritBox and Acorn TV.

Acorn TV will add a one-hour documentary celebrating Midsomer Murders’ 20th anniversary on Monday, June 10.

Pluto TV, which has more than 100 channels, is accessible for free on the web and via a range of connected TV platforms and mobile devices. You can explore its channel guide and schedule at Pluto.TV/guide.
