It’s ‘Fleabag’ Friday

Fleabag, a half-hour comedy about “the mind of a dry-witted, sexual, angry, grief-riddled woman” tackling “modern living in London,” will debut a six-episode second season this Friday, May 17, on Amazon Prime.

Written by and starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Fleabag is based on her play of the same name. The theatrical production won several awards including an Edinburgh Fringe First Award and the Critics’ Circle and Off-West End Awards for Most Promising Playwright. It also recently completed a six-week off-Broadway engagement.

The show also stars American Dad!’s Brett Gelman, Broadchurch’s Olivia Colman, The Rebel’s Bill Paterson, Outnumbered’s Hugh Dennis, Harlots’ Hugh Skinner, Paddington 2’s Jamie Demetrious, The Favourite’s Jenny Rainsford and Fry-Up’s Sian Clifford.
