Dead to Me, a dark comedy about a widowed real estate agent seeking to avenge her husband’s death, debuts today on Netflix.

The 10-episode series stars Married with Children’s Christina Applegate as Jen, who bitterly grieves the hit-and-run murder of her husband and is determined to find his killer. In the meantime, she joins a support group where she meets Judy (Green Book’s Linda Cardellini), a free spirit with whom she unexpectedly bonds. As Judy encourages Jen to loosen up, she also tries to protect her from a shocking secret.

The cast also includes James Marsden (Teddy in Westworld), seven-time Emmy winner Ed Asner (The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Lou Grant) and Brandon Scott.

The series was created by Liz Feldman, who was a writer and executive producer for the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls.
