Ministry of Evil, a four-part documentary subtitled “The Twisted Cult of Tony Alamo,” comes to subscription streamer Sundance Now this Thursday, April 18. But you can binge the entire miniseries free right now at sundancetv.com, whether or not you get Sundance TV or Sundance Now.

“More fanatical than Jim Jones, more secretive than Scientology, more controlling than Charles Manson,” begins the series trailer. That’s damning praise indeed coming from the same channel that brought us last year’s excellent four-part Jim Jones doc, Jonestown: Terror in the Jungle. So expect a similar mix of shocking archival footage mixed with mind-blowing testimony from surviving members of the sadistic cult.

Ministry of Evil premiered on Sundance TV in February, and Sundance Now will debut one episode weekly Thursdays through May 9. To watch all episodes now, though, go to sundancetv.com/shows/ministry-of-evil.
