YouTube Steps Up

Robin Givens (Head of the Class, Riverdale) and Ashley Greene (Twilight movies) have joined the supporting cast of high school dance drama Step Up: High Water, scheduled to premiere its second season today on subscription streamer YouTube Premium.

Step Up: High Water, from the producers of the Step Up film franchise, stars Ne-Yo, Naya Rivera and Faizon Love. The series is set at a highly competitive performing arts high school in Atlanta.

New to the Step Up franchise? YouTube offers all five Step Up feature films, which popped every two years starting in 2006, for $3.99 each. Subscribers to HBO Now or HBO’s Amazon add-on channel can also stream the original Step Up. It starred Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, both of whom are executive producers of Lionsgate’s YouTube series.
