Still searching for a response to the State of the Union address? Or maybe the mess in Virginia?

How about “Fess Up When You Mess Up”?

The above is one of “5 Children’s Songs That Can Change Washington and the World,” a new YouTube playlist from Smile Works TV. Smile Works features music from the 2005-2010 public TV series for preschoolers, Sheira and Loli’s Dittydoodle Works.

The playlist’s other songs are “It’s Not What You Say It’s How You Say It”, “Dilly Dally”, “Listen” and “Compliments.”

“Regardless of what side of the aisle you’re on, we sincerely hope that adults from Washington and around the world will listen closely to the lessons in our lyrics as they can help remind us of our responsibility to lead by example and model the behavior we want from our children,” said Sheira Brayer, lead songwriter for Dittydoodle Works.

And be sure to pass on this Dittydoodle lyric “When you admit you’re wrong, you’re feeling better inside!”
