Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment said it has acquired more than 500 movie and TV titles from distributor FilmRise for its PopcornFlix service and other free, ad-supported video-on-demand (AVOD) channels on the drawing boards.

The titles, totaling over 1,000 hours, include TV series like Roseanne3rd Rock from the Sun, and Forensic Files; movies like Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans with Nicolas Cage, and Labor Pains with Lindsey Lohan (left); and franchises like the Ernest movies.

All the above except Roseanne can currently be seen on seen free via AVOD streamer Tubi TV, with Labor Pains also available on the AVOD Roku Channel.
