Longing to see Laverne & Shirley following yesterday’s death of its co-star Penny Marshall? The 1976-1983 ABC series (eight seasons, 178 episodes) isn’t streaming anywhere officially, not even on a pay-per-episode basis. You can, however, find random complete episodes free on Dailymotion.
Happily, MeTV has scheduled eight Laverne & Shirley episodes for this Sunday, December 23, starting at 2 pm ET/PT. The tribute will include six episodes personally selected as favorites by Marshall herself, followed by two previously scheduled Christmas episodes

After Laverne & Shirley, Marshall went on to direct several major Hollywood films, and anyone can stream her two biggest hits for free: Big (1988), featuring an Oscar-nominated performance by Tom Hanks, on The Roku Channel (for which you don’t need a Roku device; and A League of Their Own (1992), featuring a Golden-Globe nominated performance by Geena Davis, on Sony Crackle.
