The Cry, a four-episode psychological thriller, launches today on subscription streamer Sundance Now.

Based on a novel by Helen FitzGerald, The Cry is about Joanna (Jenna Coleman) and Alistair (Ewen Leslie), who travel from Scotland to a small town in Australia to fight for custody of Alistair’s 14-year-old daughter from a previous marriage. Then, the couple’s three-month-old son goes missing, causing their relationship to collapse.

The Cry originally ran on the UK’s BBC One over four weeks in September and October.

Sundance Now costs $6.99 monthly or $59.99 annually, after a seven-day free trial.
