The DOOL App Debuts

Days of Our Lives, NBC’s only remaining soap opera (and one of just four network soaps still on the air), will celebrate the 53rd anniversary of its premiere tomorrow by launching…an app!

The DOOL App, said to be the first of its kind for a daytime drama, promises lots of supplemental content, including behind-the-scenes videos, vintage clips, sneak peaks and weekly recaps. It will be available in the App Store for iOS and in Google Play for Android.

Here’s Kristian Alfonso, who has played  Hope Williams Brady on the show for the past 35 years:

The hour-long Days of Our Lives, which debuted November 8, 1965, airs weekdays on NBC (check your local station’s schedule for the exact time). It is by far the network’s longest-running drama series.
