Gothic Irish Folk Horror

Call him a quadruple threat.

Sean Hartofilis wrote, directed, acts — and sings —  in Covadonga, a 71-minute movie described as a “Gothic Irish folk horror freakout.” He plays a widowed singer-songwriter staying at a lakehouse that’s trespassed by “a mysterious young couple.”

Oh yes, Hartofilis also wrote all the songs, including this one for the trailer:

Hartofilis previously wrote and directed the 2014 drama Beach Pillows, which is available to Amazon Prime subscribers, or free with ads on Tubi TV.

Covadonga was released today for $4 rental or $7 purchase at Vimeo. If you buy it, you can also get the movie’s soundtrack (seven songs) free by sending your receipt to music@covadonga.film.
