Today, Saturday Night Live’s Kenan Thompson will host the season nine premiere of Studio C, the family-friendly sketch show.

The show will debut at 9 pm ET, with a midnight repeat, on free streamer and the Studio C YouTube channel.

The season debut, recorded at the Manhattan Center’s Hammerstein Ballroom, stars Thompson, along with the regular cast, in new and returning bits that include returning characters such as “Ann the Librarian,” “Lobster Bisque” and “Susan Weebers.”

Studio C is billed as “clean but edgy” comedy, dealing with “commonplace scenarios – from ethical dilemmas and quirky relatives to roommate and friendship quandaries, video gaming angst and heartbreak.”

According to Deseret News, season nine will be the last with the 10 original cast members: Matt Meese, Mallory Everton, Whitney Call, Stacey Harkey, Jeremy Warner, James Perry, Natalie Madsen, Adam Berg, Stephen Meek and Jason Gray.
