‘Pokémon’ Marathon

Twitch will launch a massive 10-month Pokémon marathon at 1 pm ET today, August 27, that will include 19 seasons (932 episodes) of the TV series and 16 movies.

The TV episodes will run Monday through Thursdays on TwitchPresents, with repeats Fridays and Saturdays on TwitchPresents2. The movies will run at 1 pm  Sundays on TwitchPresents.

To see Pokémon seasons 20 and 21, which include dozens of other episodes, you’ll need access to Disney XD, which aired the show’s 1,000th episode four months ago. Disney XD — and its associated on-demand streaming — is available through cable, telco, satellite, YouTube TV, DirecTVNow, PlayStation Vue or Hulu Live subscriptions.

In the first episode, at 1 pm today on TwitchPresents, Ash oversleeps and receives his first Pokémon, the reluctant Pikachu. If you miss it, don’t worry. You can catch up on Friday on TwitchPresents2. Or we’ve got it for you right here:
