Looking for vengeance? First get an Upgrade.

That’s the name of a science-fiction thriller about a man, paralyzed in a mugging that also killed his wife, seeks revenge following a trip to a billionaire inventor’s lab.

The film is set to debut tomorrow, August 14, on several digital platforms, although the streaming price was not announced. You’ll also be able to view it through the Movies Anywhere app if you purchase the film from streamers such as iTunes, Vudu and Fandango Now.

In Upgrade, Grey Trace (Logan Marshall-Green) receives an experimental AI implant called STEM that gives him extraordinary physical abilities. Trace then puts those abilities to the test as he pursues a course of vengeance against those who murdered his wife and left him for dead.

Leigh Whannell, executive producer for several Saw movies and Jigsaw, wrote, directed and executive produced Upgrade. Jason Blum is producer.
