A Digital Dating Sitcom

Sideswiped, an eight-episode comedy about women of different generations dating in the digital age, will debut on subscription streamer YouTube Premium a week from today, July 25.

Carly Craig (ABC’s American Housewife) created, wrote and stars in a story based on her own life — playing a 35-year-old workaholic single woman who decides to date all 252 of her Tinder matches. Rosanna Arquette (Pulp Fiction, After Hours, Desperately Seeking Susan) plays her recently widowed mother, also part of the online dating scene, and newcomer Chelsea Frei plays her younger married sister, who’s experiencing a “seven-year-itch.”

Guest stars will include Peter Gallagher, Rick Springfield and Jason Sudeikis, with whom Craig appeared in Hall Pass (2011). You can rent the latter film for $2.99 on YouTube and elsewhere, or watch Sudeikis and Craig in their popular sneeze scene right here:

YouTube Premium costs $11.99 monthly after a one-month free trial. For more info or to subscribe, visit youtube.com/premium.
