‘Wild Kingdom’ at 55

Fifty-five years after premiering on NBC, Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom still travels the world filming wild creatures in their natural habitats.

For the past five years, the series has existed as a short-form web series hosted by Stephanie Arne. The most recent webisode, featuring the polar bear capital of the world — Churchill, Manitoba — debuted yesterday. You can find it at WildKingdom.com, on YouTube, or right here:

The next webisodes, set to premiere in early August, will travel to California’s Kelp Forest.
