Grown-Up Karate Kids

‘Cobra Kai,’ a 10-episode sequel to the original ‘Karate Kid’ films, has launched on subscription streamer YouTube Red.

But you can see the first two half-hours of Cobra Kai for free right here:

In the series, Ralph Macchio and William Zabka reprise their roles as former karate rivals Daniel and Johnny. It’s 30 years later and Daniel is a successful car dealer. But Johnny’s life hasn’t gone as well, so he reopens his Cobra Kai karate dojo. The rivalry reignites.

If you’d like to see the original story again – or for the first time – you can stream much younger versions of Macchio and Zabka in 1984’s Karate Kid. The movie is available on YouTube for just 99 cents, and also on Hulu and Amazon Prime ,

Macchio and Zabka previously reunited in the 1986 sequel The Karate Kid Part II. It’s also available for 99 cents on YouTube, as well as on Hulu.

To binge the remaining eight episodes of Cobra Kai, subscribe to YouTube Red. After a month’s free trial, you’ll be charged $9.99 monthly.
