Where is Jake Burbage?

Whatever became of child actor Jake Burbage?

Early in this millennium, Jake Burbage played Henry on the network sitcom Grounded for Life (2001– 2005) while simultaneously voicing Benny the Bull on Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer (2000-2007).

Now a grown-up millennial, Burbage has resurfaced as one of the stars of Nuke City, a five-episode short-form sci-fi comedy that just launched on Amazon.

Burbage plays one of four friends trapped in a Manhattan apartment after a nuclear apocalypse. The other friends are played by newcomers, a term which can also be applied to Nuke Citys creator and director Brian Baldocchi.

Burbage also wrote episode three, his first-ever screenwriting credit.

Amazon Prime subscribers can stream Nuke City ad-free, while non-Prime subscribers can steam the series for free, with ads.

Amazon Prime subscribers can also hear the voice of a young Burbage by streaming Dora the Explorer; non-subscribers can get individual episodes for $1.99 each.

Here’s a Dora the Explorer episode titled “Benny’s Treasure”:

To both hear and see young Burbage, we suggest streaming free episodes of Grounded for Life from Dailymotion.
