Dafoe Launches ‘IMDb Me’

Have you ever scrolled down someone’s IMDb page…lets say current Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe… and wondered what the actor himself would say about it?

You’re about to find out as Dafoe is the first subject of IMDb Me, a new short-form series available free from either IMDb or the show’s producer Funny or Die. You can also watch the Dafoe episode right here:

“As everyone in the entire world knows, Hollywood talent celebrate and obsess over their IMDb pages,” said Mike Farah, CEO of Funny Or Die. “So I’m not certain a more important series has ever existed.”

Funny or Die and IMDb said new episodes of IMDbMe will be released starting in March, but didn’t name any names. You can get updates about the series from funnyordie.comimdb.com/imdbme, or IMDb’s iOS and Android apps.

Want to see more of Dafoe now that you’ve watched his IMDbMe revelations?

You can stream The Florida Project, for which he’s up for a Supporting Actor Oscar this coming Sunday, from various sites for $4.99 SD or $5.99 HD.

Dafoe has received two other Supporting Oscar nominations over his long career, for Platoon (1986) and Shadow of the Vampire (2000). HBO Now subscribers can stream the former, while you can rent the latter for $1.99 SD or $2.99 HD from Fandango Now.
