Crackle’s ‘In the Cloud’

In the Cloud, a sci-fi movie thriller, will debut tomorrow, February 8, on free streamer Crackle. But if you have Crackle’s app for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 or PlayStation Vita, you can watch the flick now.

Crackle has also launched a companion virtual reality experience, In the Cloud VR Afterlife, on Oculus, Playstation and other platforms.

In the Cloud tells the story of two estranged tech geniuses brought together after dozens of people are killed by a serial terrorist bomber: “They overcome their differences to create a perfect cutting-edge technology with the goal of invading the terrorist’s memories using a VR environment to pinpoint the remaining bombs.”

Shot in London and Manchester, In the Cloud stars Gabriel Byrne (Usual Suspects, and Golden Globe winner for In Treatment), Justin Chatwin (Shameless), Tomiwa Edun (Merlin), Laura Fraser (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul), and Nora Arnezeder (Safe House, The Words).

The VR show features Edun, with appearances by Chatwin and Arnezeder.
