“I’m James, I’m 17, and I’m pretty sure I’m a psychopath.”

The End of the F**king World, debuting this Friday, January 5, on Netflix, is an eight-part dark comedy series based on a graphic novel by Charles Forsman.

Channeling the spirit of Natural Born Killers, Kalifornia and other psycho-buddy road-trip entries, The End of the F**king World follows self-proclaimed psychopath James (Black Mirror’s Alex Lawther) and foul-mouthed rebel Alyssa (Penny Dreadful’s Jessica Barden) on a journey “to find a better life, and escape the impending doom of adulthood. As their chaotic journey unfolds, it becomes apparent that James and Alyssa have crossed a line and have no choice but to take it as far as they can.”

The cast also includes Steve Oram, Jayda Mitchell, Jack Veal, Wunmi Mosaku and Gemma Whelan.

The series first aired on the UK’s Channel 4 last October.
