‘Bernstein on Broadway’

Bernstein on Broadway, which PBS broadcast live from Lincoln Center on New Year’s Eve, is now available to stream for free.

The two-hour program — a 100th birthday celebration of the late composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein — featured the New York Philharmonic accompanying such Broadway stars as Annaleigh Ashford, Laura Osnes, Chris Jackson and Aaron Tveit.

Bernstein was the New York Philharmonic’s musical director from 1958 to 1969. He also composed the music for two great musicals in the Broadway canon – West Side Story and On the Town.
