‘A Nashville Christmas’

Four-year-old over-the-air channel GetTV’s first original offering ever, A Nashville Christmas, premieres this Thursday, December 7, at 8 pm ET.

Guests on the musical special include Wynonna, Emmylou Harris, Lorrie Morgan, Pam Tillis, Ashley Cleveland and Dailey & Vincent.

A show highlight is Tillis’s bluesy rendition of “Santa Claus Baby” (below). Her father, country music legend Mel Tillis, passed away less than a month ago. Also of note: Wynona and one of her influncers Harris dueting for the first time on “Beautiful Star of Bethlehem”; Harris’ rendition of Dolly Parton’s “Coat of Many Colors”; and Morgan’s jazzy interpretation of “The Christmas Song” (“Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire”).
