Dockery Goes ‘Godless’

Michelle Dockery continues to shed her image as the reserved aristocratic Lady Mary from Downton Abbey. Currently starring as a dysfunctional con woman on TNT’s Good Behavior, you can also see her starting Wednesday in Netflix’s Godless as a hardened widower in the old west.

Godless, a seven-part miniseries, is executive produced by Steven Soderbergh (Best Director Oscar,Traffic, 2000), and also stars Jeff Daniels and Jack O’Connell. It’s directed by Scott Franks (Oscar nominee, Out of Sight, 1999).

Daniels play Frank Griffin, head of a gang of outlaws, who heads to the female-run town of La Belle, NM, to seek revenge on former gang member Roy Goode, who seeks refuge with Alice Fletcher (Dockery). “When word reaches La Belle that Griffin is headed their way, the town bands together to defend against the murderous gang.”

Netflix subscribers can access Godless starting November 22For more of Dockery, Amazon Prime subscribers can stream all of Downton Abbey, and Hulu subscribers can stream the first season of Good Behavior.
