Have you ever seen an opera? Well, here’s your chance — at least for free and online.

Cennarium, a performance arts subscription streaming service, will celebrate the conclusion of National Opera Week with four opera performances – available at no charge.

The first two operas will stream simultaneously this Saturday, November 4, at 8 pm ET.

The Magic Flute for Children (pictured left) is a 60-minute film of Mozart’s opera adapted for a very young audience. Performed by Opernhaus Zürich, a “presenter accompanies the audience through the piece in an easily understandable, cheerful manner.” The story follows “Prince Tamino, who has fallen in love with Pamina, the daughter of the Queen of the Night, and yearns to liberate her from the kingdom of Sarastro, who has abducted her.” It is presented in English and German, with English subtitles.

At the same time, Cennarium will show the Gärtnerplatz Theater’s performance of Emmerich Kálmán’s  The Circus Princess. The 155-minute film, meant for audiences 12 and over, involves “a circus in St. Petersburg, a princely palace, and a Viennese hotel – these are the places where circus people, Russian nobility, and young people from Vienna come together to revel in the delirium of love.”  The opera is in German.

Two more operas will stream simultaneously on Sunday, November 5, at 8 pm ET.

Opernhaus Zürich offers composer Ferruccio Busoni’s Doktor Faust (pictured left) based on the classic Faust myth. The 2009 Penguin Guide called Doktor Faust “one of the greatest operas of the 20th century.” The 170-minute film is sung in German, with English subtitles.

If you’re interested in something even more epic, Anhaltische Philharmonie Dessau performs Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde, Wagner’s influential opera based on a famous legend by German poet Gottfried von Strassburg. The 223-minute film is in German, with English subtitles.
