‘The Other F Word’

The Other F Word, a short-form comedy series boasting such stars as Steve Guttenberg, Judy Gold, Gilbert Gottfried and Michael Boatman, has launched its second season on Amazon. The “F” in this case stands for “fun,” with the series focusing on “life after kids for four women friends” (played by Stephanie Little, Reiko Aylesworth, Holly Cate and LeeAnne Hutchison.)

All six episodes of season two, along with eight episodes of season one, are now available on Amazon – ad-free for Prime subscribers, with ads for everyone else. You can also stream season one ad-free at the show’s web site and on Vimeo.

Just make sure you click on any of the links above to watch this series. Search for it elsewhere and you could well end up (as we did last year) finding a 2011 documentary feature with the same title. The Other F Word in this case is “fatherhood,” as the movie is about aging punk rockers becoming dads. You can stream the flick on subscription service Filmstruck. Here’s the trailer:

Even if you narrow your search to TV series rather than movies, you might come up with Gordon Ramsay’s The F Word, where the other F word is “food.” A US version ran on Fox last year, but you can binge on all 27 episodes of the original 2005-2010 British series free on Yahoo View. Here, though, is a Fox promo:
