WeedTV Launches

Marijuana lifestyle channel WeedTV launches today with six hours of daily live programming through Monday, September 25. The content, emanating from an unidentified private estate in Las Vegas, will include tryouts for “SmokesModels,” the crowning of “Miss Weed TV 2018” after swimsuit and fashion competitions, a “Top Budmaster Competition,” something called “The Weed Bowl,” a talk show aptly titled Blunt Talk, and “the first-ever live broadcast of a marijuana-themed wedding.”

To watch this weekend’s programming, go to weedtv.com, or the channel’s Facebook page. WeedTV did not provide times for the launch telecasts.

WeedTV’s parent company Player’s Network owns 89% of Nevada-based cannabis cultivator Green Leaf Farms. Other purveyors of marijuana-focused content include Cannabis Club TV and CannabisRadio.com, a podcast and video outlet promoting cannabis legalization.
